What Is Something I Can Spray On Pine Wood Chips To Prevent It From Attracting Termites?

I recently had some tree’s in my backyard cut down and I turned them into wood chips. I want to put them around the exterior of my house but don’t want to attract termites. What can i spray them down with to make sure termites aren’t attracted? I would really like a home remedy.

    You could poison them with a biocide (bifenthrin, permethrin, imidaclopid etc) but what would be the point? Plain old salt is a good home remedy that will last until it rains (and will poison your plants). Best to compost them first and use them as a soil amendment.
