What Is The Law Reguarding One Year Contracts For Pest Services In Fl?

I have heard that you can break a contract any time you want with pest control but the company I went with insists that I have to sign a contract. Any one know the legalities of this?

You should ask a Florida lawyer if you want legal advice. You can do so here for free: http://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/
But generally speaking, you are always free to breach a contract. Of course, you’ll also be potentially liable for any damages that you cause to the other party by breaching the contract. It’s up to you to weigh the cost/benefit and see if breaching is worth it. It’s also up to individual companies whether they force you to sign some kind of a contract for services. If you’re not comfortable with a particular contract or how a certain pest company does business, you can always find another.
