What Would You Charge For A Professional Lawn Care Service On A Monthly Basis. What Would You Expect To Pay?

I’m thinking about starting a Lawn Care business soon. I just need some research. Service includes: Mowing, edging, seasonal leaf removal, bi-yearly aeration and fertilization. What would you be willing to pay for all that?

cutting the grass is a basic service and roughly pays any where from 25 to 40 dollars a cut depending on how big the yard is, all the other services you listed would be individually priced. leaf removal is one time service could be any where from 200 to 500 depending on the yard so you have a lot of thinking to do. lawn service is a great business to do but you have to know a little something about how grass grows cause you just don’t put a mower on a lawn cause you can damage the root system o

I believe you should ask. How much does it cost me to mow someones lawn? labor, equipment, maintenance, vehicle, insurance, license, etc. I spent A lot of time working on my labor rate. Lets say a lawnmower cost $750.00 and with heavy use it will mow 350 lawns before replacement, it would cost $2.14 per lawn for the mower. put all your numbers for fuel, oil, labor and anything else you can think of into a spreadsheet, add it up and walla. then don’t forget the most important part (profit) 10% to 20% at least
