How long after my fertilizer application until my grass turns green?
Generally within two weeks. Green up is mainly tied to the weather, the warmer the temperatures the faster the green up.

How long until the weeds die?
Depending on the weed variety you will see discoloration starting in 5 to 7 days. Most broadleaf weeds will die off in two to four weeks.

Will I need to resod?
In most cases the turf will heal itself. If the damage is greater than 2' X 2' we recommend placing a few pieces of sod in the damaged area to avoid encroachment of aggressive weeds such as crabgrass.

How long will my family and pets need to stay off the grass after treatment?
People and pets will need to stay off treated surfaces until dry. Usually 1 to 2 hours.

What if I can only meet the technician at a specific time?
We can make set appointment times for customers who need them. Our service representative will meet you within a 15 minute window of your set time.

Do I need to leave my house after treatment?
There is no need to leave your house unless we provide a flea treatment. Please consult us if you or family members have any specific health concerns.

What do I need to do to prepare for a flea treatment?
Pick up all loose non furniture items off floor including pet food/water bowls, toys, clothing, etc. and thoroughly vacuum discarding bag. All people and pets will need to vacate the premises for 4 hours after treatment. We recommend having all pets treated for fleas during this 4 window.

Do you need to come inside my home to treat for termites?
The overwhelming majority of treatments will be preformed from the exterior of the home, however there are certain termite infestations that must treated on the interior.

Can I transfer my termite warranty to a new home owner if I sell my house?
As per your termite contract, Safari Termite & Pest Control, Inc., will at its sole discretion transfer your warranty to the new homeowner.
